Interesting points about the views. I thought they were for the thread but still a bit unclear how that works.
The simple way to explain that is each hit on the thread is one hit....but it could be that each hit on the thread adds a hit to every post on the thread and that would multiply the views very quickly and not give a very useful indication of views as long threads would multiply quicker than short threads.
I think I liked the old way....views are an indicator of things,imo.
