Indeed JC, I do however feel that its a multitude of issues that lead to the creation of poor leadership, both in business and in general.

I suppose in the end, the buck stops with us. If we fail to demand better from those in leadership roles, then we get what we deserve.

Perhaps complacency is the biggest issue. Bigger than ignorance or arrogance or poor level of education or experience that is required of these people.

Everybody in general has had it too good for too long. Perhaps a few years of economic hardship might be required to develop a new generation of leaders with a bit of conviction.
