I also think that the trading halt should have been requested at the outset of the glaucus report, or at least when the SP started falling sharply due to the report. It would have allowed a response and the shorts may not have got the opportunity to work it as they have. It would have also stopped the assumptions of the worst case scinarios given how much time was given to digest the negativity of the report.
Whatever shorts are still in play tomorrow would need to be thinking hard as i get the feeling some may be in pain come close of play Tuesday.
