They were claiming $2.3m. They also say the company has now lodged it's 2016 claim.
Not very clear but it seems they have gone from $2.3m for 2014 and 2015 to $1.6m - $2m for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
R & D claims are for a specific amount so not sure why they are providing a range. If they provide a range, I would expect the lower range of $1.6m to be closer to the mark IMO.
