Yep the company may have played on this a little but you find me one listed company that doesn't spin on good news.

Well not all do (the ones that frustrate the hell out of you for not doing so) but I agree most do, particularly the startups and speculative arena. The problem is, has the investment community then misinterpreted this and valued a company too highly? Unfortunately I think in the case of GSW this will prove to be so and there will be a major correction. Seen it all before. The share price (and marketcap) will then align itself more closely with actual financial results. The SaaS model is a great model, in the end, just like any company in this arena, the sustained success and growth relies on your repeat business, your retention rates.

It's is sad to see that it appears this whole situation has been manipulated by shorters with the help of the media it seems, but the company is also to blame for opening themselves up to this outcome. It was always going to come to a head at some stage.
