Saas is not a new thing. This is not about the industry, this is about the misleading announcements.
When GSW announced the Amazon "Contract" they released a 2 paragraph announcement with no details at all.
When Afterpay announced their deal with Matrix partners they released a 6 page, detailed explanation of the specific transactions, rationale, strategy and intent. Even cautionary statements that it could amount to nothing.
These are 2 'new' companies trading to the same rules yet the behaviour of the boards couldn't be more different.
In the end, if GSW have nothing to hide, why are they hiding?
