Yes, its a high stakes game, if they can't get some sort of finance in place, the whole house of cards could collapse. We just have to believe RC and the board are doing it this way to maximise existing shareholders equity as much as possible. There is reason for optimism given the quality of the players involved and the fallback position of possible capital equipment financing of the MAD. One would imagine that would strictly be on the basis of a return on capital investment. I personally doubt RC would have made the comments he has over the past few months without something to back it up, or surely his ongoing reputation would be shot to pieces?
