It means anything ML says is compromised to the back teeth. $300k is not nothing - especially for 'advocating a stock'. The virtues of a stock should stand alone, as opposed to being paid to espouse said virtues. There's a huge difference in ML advocating a stock without getting a dime as opposed to being paid a large sum (for popularity and reputation basically). Yes, I'm aware he was engaged to do this long ago, but the sum of dollars is going to spook many a holder... and lastly having an opinion that differs from your own is not moronic - thinking that it is does little to validate your own intelligence.
