I am really happy with the announcement. I had to go and look up a few technical things but the Dry Creek hole has Sphalerite ( which is ZINC sulphide) Galena ( which is LEAD Sulphide) and chalcopyrite ( which is COPPER Sulphide) and 8.8 metres. Dry Creek has a resource of Zinc, Lead Copper and Gold.
So the announcment tells at the very least they have successfully drilled and hit the orebody. Given this is the FIRST drilling campaign, it tells me the pre-drilling work they have done must have been good quality.
Good news. As an aside I reckon the tax loss selling this year will be over by end of next week ( or so my broker says) I am quite happy to hold . The resource isn't going away and will get bigger as time goes by. Also there is the reasonable chance that they can hit another discovery as well. So the risks are more on the upside, not the downside. When the shares start to get hoovered up, after grades results, this will be a very profitable investment for the super fund.
