Not only that. Didn't they make an announcement a few months ago that they were bringing the operations team in house too instead of contacting it out as to retain the knowledge of operating the plant. Looks to be defending their position for the future.

As to maintaining 6.5%, who knows. Hopefully they can as volumes increase but I wouldn't bank on maintaining it. 6% is the spec. The management have a history of under promising and surprising to the upside which I would rather prefer.

As to converters on WA, yes that is probably the future but awhile away yet. By the time the pollies have a bun fight over it, fight an election over it, then secure funding, then build it, AJM would have probably built and paid off stage 2. And who's to say that AJM and it's infant step sister SYA haven't gotten involved in a Australian converter themselves...
