I agree wholeheartedly with your comment on the future of waste in Australia.
Councils have to end the disposal of everything to landfill. The conservation-minded are noisy - placing guilt on the citizenry rather than obliging product producers to wrap with recyclable material. Bloody twits.
Sorting rubbish is expensive and complex. New plant is required. Only a handful of companies have the capital and skillset to bid to the new government standards. CWY is one and already has many 'prized assets' to build on.
Future contracts will need to fund the building of waste processing facilities - prices will be high, competition weak, councils will understand and ratepayers are in for a financial shock.
CWY looks expensive, yet stands to deliver substantial value to holders in ahead of this transformation.
