when I did the calculation I used the figures supplied by bluesky52 and I extrapolated a % for yesterdays figures which as you correctly point out were not yet available
well I re-did them now and my approximation of 17 million shorts these past 5-6 days was spot on (the new calculation is 17.1 million)
also I don't accept your thesis that Regal was buying back his shorts at the end of the day
to give him his due he is not a nickel and dime operation... a 10cent gain on the day is chump change (and it won't help him at all recover his loses from his previous shorting attempt)
most of all, at the present time, Regal needs a smokescreen .. he needs people to believe that there are other factors at play explaining the sudden SP drop, because once people realise it's just him again, he is stuffed (again)
