Re: Don participating in a CR
Personal opinion, but I cringe a little bit when employees put significant money into the company they work for. I mean if it was Apple that would be one thing, but a company that is risky seems like breaking the basic rule of all the eggs in one basket. He can do whatever he wants and for all I know he’s filthy rich and it doesn’t matter. But I don’t think we should be looking for clues based on employee stock purchases or (non) participation in a CR. Let’s say employee Smith buys a billion shares, one could argue that “oh my god he must really believe in the company” and then the other guy will argue “he’s just doing it for optics and because nobody else was buying”. So in the end I don’t believe what the employees do is much of an indication of anything.
