I went to my local Beacon lighting store in Brisbane today to get a vanity light, I noticed a few LIFX and Phillips hue products, they had shelves and shelves of GE smart globes. I asked the Manager which was the best smart light and she said LIFX beats Phillips hands down with GE second. I asked her if they sell much LIFX and she said they sell bucket loads and is the most popular and she always recommends LIFX first to anyone looking for smart lights!
Goes to show that the demand is definitely there and the retailers think it is a great product....unbelievable that the problem isn't being able to sell the product - it's being able to make enough to meet the demand!
That is the main reason I still hold Bud - if they had enough $$$ to build, this companies revenue would explode!
