Well said Gerrado and its strange to think Alice would be disgruntled, she holds over 1.7% of the company, 3.87 million shares. If she was upset she would not have exercised her options, most likely voted against the recent General Meeting and she would have resigned immediately not wait until the AGM.
Its all pretty exciting times ahead for the company as we transition into a pure deep tech company and albeit the ASX queries are never welcome, the detail which the company provided in this week announcement was actual insightful and helped join a few dots. This is the first time we have seen details around the contract between the university. Looks pretty standard to me with Royalties and the "Call" Option is real kicker with the option to buy the Uni out.
Also good to get some clarifications around some of those claims in the patent which were dropped and Archer confirming "The reduced claim numbers has no consequence on the potential 12CQ chip viability."
I think we are lucky to have Greg there in times of these events. He is one the best lawyers in South Australia and he's speciality is listing law and governance. The wording in the reply is well articulated and I think the ASX should be happy with the response. Busy time of the year for the company with the Annual Report out next month and with Covid lockdowns i wonder how much impact that is having with the girls and guys in the lab.
The trading of shares is still very much volatile however we are seen zero held overnight short positions and some intra day shorting going through.(day traders).
Here is snapshot of broker data since the Monday 16th High, no real net short positions (that credit Suisse negative net volume was mostly at the high) and UBS surprisingly has been picking up a lot of the volume everyday and i think they are steering some of the price action around key levels. Cannacord (which was the old Petersons) tipped out over 3.2 million shares between mid July and early August and looks like they are all done, will be interesting to the movement in the TOP20.
Good luck everyone and hoping we get some further updates soon.
