What bothers me is for a while only purchases were logged.
Rod was sending false signals to the market. And there is such a thing as "signal amplification." If people knew he was selling too, that would have been a different signal.
Some people are drawing positive conclusions because the outcome was in your favour. That is, net accumulation of shares at a loss.
What would you say if the outcome was the opposite? Net accumulation at a gain? Net divestment at a gain?
The process by which they make decisions is more important than the outcome.
That's a reflection of Rod and the board as a whole (taking action pro-actively or reactively?).
Sometime in the future, the process and trust between counter-parties will come in handy.
