Hard up against end of financial year/quarterly reporting requirements which would have shown only a few quarters of funds remaining, hurriedly tried to get the triton deal up to not spook the market and botched it.. even went so far as to say this was the preferred option over a CR. Then boom, deal falls through and CR anyway and SP has tanked. Well played.
