Reading these posts above and on other threads, it gives me comfort to see that I am not the only shareholder with complete disdain and contempt for our Board of Directors. A company’s culture starts at the top and tone makes the music.
i mean seriously, read the announcement to the ASX on Friday 12th that Nuix were unaware of any formal or written approach, followed by Monday’s (next business day!) that there was an approach! I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in the boardroom and listen to the banter… “it will blow over”,”it’s not a breach, we said no formal or written approach”. What was Bleich doing in the US in the first place? I bet the directors knew that he would be meeting Reveal and you don’t need to be Einstein to join the dots, assuming he didn’t just tell them!

You couldn’t make this stuff up. I used to think that the worst job around would be Head of Marketing or media relations at a rugby league club on a Monday morning, reading the paper and going “no way, they wouldn’t have done that” (think Todd Carney drinking his own urine, Andrew Johns at Townsville airport, Hopoate fingering players on the field….and so on).

Well the current antics by the Board top this in stupidity. I wouldn’t trust these guys one iota to look after anyone but themselves. I would argue that this behaviour disqualifies Bleich and Rubensztein from being directors - they fail the fit and proper person test.
In all this I do feel for the Nuix employees, especially Alexis Rouch, the new CIO who seems really competent. Didn’t anyone tell her that she was joining a criminal gang?
Notwithstanding the above commentary, I won’t be selling. Whilst I don’t trust them an inch, I completely trust their self interest and if the CEO is buying, that is more trustworthy than any announcement.
