Quentis(oron name)r the Sandalwood company hung around for longer and not sure exactly what happened there...victim of shorters...dunno! Colly years ago stolen by the Kahlbetzers due to lack of insto support. Costa: retirement vehicle for old Frank..Beston , a hotchpotch of businesses. WOA, a but too entrepreneurial, not much guts. Tas Foods and Pure Foods Tasmania: just trying to capitalise on Tasmania name, gimmicky businesses. Goodman: poorly managed until Kiwi Hart came along. Dairy processors: Warnambool good but taken over; NFL, MGC and other ex co'ops just tried to grow too fast; Bega bit similar but hopefully a but better!

SHV going ok, Cobram , jury out. Buderim Ginger went macadamias and plant proteins and have blown a lot of equity it seems.

GNC going ok..AWB: Cargill got a bargain but incompetent board. Defiance were sleepy, Pauls did ok. Nufarm showed great promise at times but basically cyclical with a niche seed business which may show growth. Incitec is cyclical, but structurally challenged by high Oz costs.

DBF have assets but a poor management fee arrangement. RFF have been shining lights really and turned many preconceptions on their head and survived a shorting campaign

AAC have great assets but poorly managed though it is hard to be entrepreneurial when biggest in sector.. should have stuck to knitting really.
