I'm a big believer in a level playing field, so either Canada allows imports of medicinal cannabis from other countries or Australia prevents imports from Canada. Industry leaders in Canada have openly said they are against imports due to the competition it would bring (duh). They can't have their cake and eat it to.

If Australia prevented the import of Canadian product, wouldn't Cann Group have to give up their current cannabis varieties? If I'm not mistaken, Aurora Cannabis still owns those varieties despite selling its stake in Cann Group in 2020. Thoughts?
