It’s not easy being patient but things are slow down deep. We are at say 12,000 feet so any trips will take 12 to 24 hours minimum. I’m happy with business as usual until we hear otherwise. Sherrie have proved to me they know what they’re doing up to this point. I’m happy with slow and steady… called swabbing where the pipe has a ball of mud and cuttings often around the bit that draws a suction on the bottom of the well, possibly so strong that it causes the sidewall to cave in or worse, the pressure of the mud column that holds well pressure back is lessened and allows a kick - a gas bubble that causes a blow out.

And to state the obvious tripping up-and-down a fractured and fragile well bore there’s every chance that the well , subject to kicks and highly pressurised zones and gas pockets cave-ins would be normal. Tripping out especially would be at the slower end of the scale and real risk of junk piling up above the bit. No news is good news. My feelings are the alameda casing is not yet done but must almost be. Two weeks since TD
