I like the fact that the company announced that there was a second party interested in the assets... Yeah I had to look a little to find details about what was being offered etc as the company itself made none of these announcements but I feel that if they hadn't said anything all the votes would have simply let this deal go through as it was strcutured with TGC. I believe the TGC offer is extremely low ball and when the govt changes in Columbia next year project like this will see a major re-rate especically at todays gold prices. There is 2.6Moz of gold resource defined... Do the maths it was a steal if TGC pick it up on the terms they proposed.
The disclosure was essential by the company...
