1. first ask questions to make sure there is no mismanagement so far
2. then, more importantly, follow the mine. See where it goes. Who ends up holding substantial positions in it. Ensure there is no foul play between the new holder and the old management.
3. if the above two both check out fine, then there is perhaps nothing more to be asked and time to move on
