Agree a mess, I believe as the negotiations were confidential, incomplete and non-binding it was reasonable not to disclose details to the market under continuous disclosure obligations.
What is not reasonable is yet again information is leaked to the media with the strong impression that somebody privy to this information has been trading shares...
