It would be very difficult, time consuming and very costly to go through everyone's devices, phone call logs, and interview all the links to all people involved in order to find out what all the insider trading activity is. But either way, at least it might put people on notice who have been insider trading from whatever source of information on ASM that it's not acceptable, and ASIC are watching. With any luck, ASM will take this notice seriously and make sure their staff understand the consequence, their partners and consultants used all understand the consequence and have policies and procedures in place to enforce better ethics on insider trading. Then maybe, we might get ASM to a place where long term investors are more comfortable investing with ASM knowing that they won't be amongst the last to find out after all the insiders have already made their trades.
