Having an interest in ASM, I noticed that the SP had been shorted down to .99c. Shorters having a field day.
Prior to the announcement, trading took an upturn, which I think mat have come from overseas.
Announcement comes out, SP goes up. $900 million US is a lot of money for any company on the ASX.
Shorters get burnt, then whinge to the ASX, yet the ASX allows 1 share trades to go through. ASM has done nothing wrong, the other players in the market havebeen for ages.
OT. Holding some shares at the moment trading at 0.009. On the BUY side at 0.007 are orders for 7,000,000. Right in the middle is a BUY order of 1, another for 33 etc., and you see it all the time. My trading platform has a minium of $100 per trade.
It is not a level playing field. So whoever complained, it is called karma.
