You don't have a monopoly on having an interest in a stock just because you hold.
In my case REITs have a place in my portfolio. I like their yields, relative stability(#$%!?), beta and the asset class. RFF was on my shortlist to research further. Then I see this crap. I didn't work hard all my life to now just give it up to the Casino. I have as much a right to be interested in RFF as you. Others have equally valid, but different reasons to be interested. You should be glad, they bring experience and knowledge from BLA etc. It may help in your understanding.
In saying that there are no doubt a few ambulance chasers as well. They can get stuffed.
