I don’t think this will be a factor.
Firstly the vast majority of revenue and profit at this stage is from the US CBD business.
Also based on the announcement, Woolies has not experienced a ‘run’ on hemp seeds.
From my personal observations which appears reasonably consistent with media reports, rice, pasta, frozen veggies, baked goods, tinned food, hand sanitizers, liquid soap and of course oddly enough especially toilet paper are the products where the shelves are barren (there were still plenty of hemp seeds at my local, and plenty of other ‘health food’ type products which is the aisle they are located).
Good announcement IMHO though, good to hear some of hemp black commercialisation has been pushed forward as and they say, staff and supply lines to the US pharmacies need to be the primary focus in the short term.
