What a bunch of unimaginative suits the management team are - they couldn't think of anything else for their workforce to do, other than firing 19 out of 20 workers. It appears the management here couldn't brainstorm their way out of a room with an open window.

I would suggest firing 19 out of 20 management employees and replacing them with people who have got some balls and imagination during a crisis such as this. You should read about what some of the other companies in Europe are doing with their employees - it's amazing what a competent and gutsy management team can do.

The worst thing is that casinos are acting like the banks did before and during the GFC. They have made millions off the average joe for decades, but at the very first signs of a slow down their first step is to first their blue collar workers, who have been loyal to them and who need an income to get through the crisis.
