The company is still in a formative period. As such, we have to expect announcements like this and a reminder perhaps, to keep one's exposure conservative. 8CO was quick to put this response out (the minister's announcement was 28/11/23).
8CO don't seem too bothered about it as you say - they haven't marked it as 'material'. I guess, if their tech continues to fit the purpose, is liked and considered value, they'll likely keep/expand their government work.
Uncertainty can create opportunity. I've increased my position - but mine is negligible, 0.36 % of PF (cost price).
