I get it that the assets we have were bought from a company that had gone into administration, with a dispute attached.
But if we owe 50,000 ounces of gold (which is the lowest estimate above) at $3000 per ounce, it means we owe $150 million of gold! That’s more than 3 times our entire market cap. I don’t understand the Boards announcement that this is ‘not material’??? It seems pretty existential.
Anyway here’s hoping the cap raising is successful and we have raised another $9 or $10 million so we have funds in place in case it all goes wrong.
