yes it is very odd.
Note the use of the word "even"
"recused himself even before discussions occured with SGH"
..wel then if it was "..even before discussions.." then its must be all okay - because they were thinking of how they could screw all the shareholders... but no no they decided he should recuse himself "even before discussions..."
This sort of of statement reminds me of the famous line form Shakespeare's Hamlet :
"The lady doth potest too much, methinks"
...and yes something is very rotten in the State Denmark/NXS
