Does anyone else find the following extremely odd.
"It's former chairman recused himself even before discussions occured with SGH and Nexus put in place appropriate protocols to manage any potential conflict of interest"
Seeing that The chairman "recused" himself before discussions, why would it then be necessary to subsequently implement protocols to manage any conflict of interest because he was gone already!!!! , would someone be trying to cover something up?, the last part of the statement seems obsolete to me.
Recuse! not the right word or forum for its use, lawyers all over it.
