you missed the point. If that is happening it means the order is coming from multiple, completely seperate retailers possibly in different countries. You know, in a similar way if you try and order multiple goods off eBay from different sellers.
the customs guidance for the act that the afr is referencing in the original article literally says items to typically be considered as consignment, they will travel on the same ship or plane. This is not the case for split orders.
and also the fact this is a small minority of orders on what is a minority geography for the business. I mean, using their average order size and Australia being around 5% of revenue, one could deduce this can’t be responsible for much more than a fraction of a percent of revenue. how that equates to todays move is only explained by fomo investors who didn’t even understand the investment they were buying
