My guess is that STX wants TPD to get the additional gas in excess of the 36.5 PJ already committed to Santos. The GSA announcements from last year seem to indicate that Santos just has an option for the extra "as available" production that will come from Walyering. I presume that means there is no obligation by STX and TPD to deliver that extra gas to Santos only.
Therefore, I wonder if that extra gas will be sold at today's high spot prices to customers other than Santos.
