Wouldn't it be a special dividend of $8.4 is paid fully franked. New offer price is $79.60 and shareholders receive $12 of value from the divvy ($8.4+3.6)?
I'm ignoring the most recent dividend which also comes out of the offer price as it's irrelevant to this discussion but that obviously detracts from the offer price too.
Happy to be told I'm wrong, I'm just trying to get my head around it.
