This is a day we have all been waiting for, confirmation and publication of a bid. It is not however the day to get too excited or to cash out. Those who already hold have a good thing and know that Austal is worth well above the Hanhwa bid of $2.825. Between the existing contracts and options we hold, and the very real possibility of Austal getting the second yard Constellation Frigates contract, today is simply the day that the rest of the market begins to wake up to the value that Austal presents.
I won't be selling today, and I encourage those holders to let the market move the ticker north.
