Hi rvm, had a read of the macrobusiness article you posted and found some of the comments at the bottom quite interesting. The author was vomiting his usual bile about how simple the Chinese must be for even considering such an outlandish investment, but some readers posted interesting comments about the current value of the US currency and shifting cash to assets - even if it's a poor investment. I can nearly spell economics let alone have much of an idea about what there saying. Would be interested in your thoughts if you have a minute?
