I think the AJQ board recommendation was based on the Chinese (WCL) offer being unconditional - which it has not been to date. Even the notice sent out by WCL on Friday indicated its bid was conditional, and just changed the date for the conditions applying.

Thus to my way of thinking there still seems to be an impasse.

I expect further negotiations are taking place with existing 2 potential deals and possibly others. I will be ignoring the board's latest advice and voting for their original motions.
