Interesting comment this morning from Veolia stating that Cleanaway is heading for a "legal black-hole" if it prise Suez Australia away from the main organisation.
If Veolia gets Suez in France and ultimately in Australia too, how is that any different in terms of market share compared to Cleanaway buying out Suez Australia? At least if it's the latter, it'll be Australian owned.
That may be a powerful negotiating point to persuade the ACCC if a transaction goes ahead.
This acquisition has my full support.
