It's important to form your own opinion based on your Due Diligence than to simply take someone's opinion as fact - especially these days.
On the positive, Archer has been exposed to a greater audience due to these misleading articles and those fact checking and looking deeper into Archer Materials may form a different opinion.
I'm not sure what the intentions of the company are in a legal sense, but I'd rather them focus their funds and effort on what they are doing and advance these technologies. I have lodge a complaint with the Australian Media council with the required information for them to look into also noting the change in header after being in the public domain for some time and also offered a donation of funds to the company should the company be seeking Legal advice as I prefer them using their existing funds to progress their work.
Stock price movements is not my beef as I’m custom to market corrections and fluctuations but when a stock price directly correlates to apparently deliberately misleading and inaccurate news reporting signed off in a supposedly highly regarded and well read media outlet, you do have to question the reasoning and especially the professionalism of these media outlets.
It's important to understand everyone has the view, but I though reputable outlets had a duty of care to their readers to give stories or views in ways that are not misleading and open to misinterpretation. 12cq and A1 Bio chip Patents are two separate patents and the article left it open to misinterpretation amongst other inaccuracies.
It was pleasing to see other media outlets had picked up on the inaccuracies also.
Anyway, this may just blow over and be another example of the trust worthiness people have for some media outlets. But I do hope the Australian Media Council conducts a proper review in light of the information provided.
