How can your investment thesis change overnight when you discover not all of it is in escrow? Did you only find out you could sell when all the other big guns were selling? Too many questions.

Like many said the NTA reported attributes a value to TMC. I'm thinking many holders value it at zero which is a fair call. I would do the same. Its too risky. In two weeks its lost more than 50%. We invest in LIC for long term gains not speculative companies.

CDM won't bounce back that much... if you follow it, it has historically traded at a 10-20% discount so this is somewhat the norm. You would have more confidence if the company consistently returned capital and generated returns. This is what it takes to run a LIC.

And the fact they always show performance PRE management and (under)performance fees is telling.
And if no am correct no high water mark for performance. No wonder he takes big risks.

A stock to trade when one considers value is properly risk adjusted IMO.
