Can we compare ALB to a door to door salesperson. we all know what we think of door to door sales people. Annoying; most likely trying to fleece you; and in most cases we reply no thank you, do one, or to get lost.
lots of companies will be knocking on the door, but agree no proposals have been received, doesn't mean other companies are not asking the question as to how much it'll cost.
So if I was LTR I'd be saying come with an offer of $15 a share or we won't entertain you. fact is BOD won't want to sell for anything less.
Not many companies have that type of money lying around in the bank or want to do a capital raise. but i do remember some huge tech mergers in the past and perhaps that is what may come is a merger in Lieu of shares. of course shareholders get the final say
