Yes it is unexplored - there are still big areas were they have not taken any rock chip samples (see a previous post of mine on this topic). And as stated in the Diggers presentation they are still undertaking rock chip sampling.
My comments about the additional samples being (partly from TA2) is based on factual information from AZS announcements (if people want to read through all the announcements).
The first image below is from the 21 March announcement setting out the rest of the assay results from the first 793 samples. You will notice the area I have circled in TA 2 shows there are almost no rock chip samples. The second image below sets out the samples from AP11-12 in the same announcement.
The 3rd image below shows the rock chip samples in the 7 August announcement where there were none in previous announcement on 21 March.
Comparing the second and first images you will notice that there are a lot more rock chip assays over 3% in TA 2 than in AP11-12. There are about 18 assays in TA 2 over 3% whereas in AP11-12 there were only about 4 (excluding AP9,10 and 14). I assume this partly explains why Tony considers TA2 to be more prospective than TA 1. It also explains why the rock chip samples from when they had 793 samples for over 3% went from 75 (9.5% of all samples - see the 10 May presentation) to 119 in the Diggers & Dealers presentation or an additional 44 over 3% (ie 13.1% of 336 additional assays).
