Management don't take the offer seriously and treated it with appropriate inaction. What forced its hand was the news filtering out probably the specifics of SQM selling it down. The trading halt was necessary and you shouldn't feel so disgruntled. We're not in any rush for a CR, either.
I think your sentiment doesn't match what the outlook is for AZS and rock lithium, nor the outlook for electric vehicles which is one bright spot in China's economic outlook in particular, but that's JIMO.
