Since you asked, JV, here’s my take. At a macro level, LYC spend $330m pa (COGS) to make 5,600tns of NdPr Oxide with 100% payability (2024 Annual Report).
HAS will spend $170m pa to make 3,400tns of NdPr in concentrate with 40% payability (2023 Staged Development Presentation).
On an equalised basis, HAS will spend $50 per kg of NdPr to get to concentrate, whereas LYC spend $58 per kg of NdPr to get to oxides which sell for more than twice as much.
