Yes mate that was on my mind - are they just doing definition drilling on the planned open pit and some deep holes - not sure of the latter extent - and as you say why don't we have a heap of rigs on all the other targets in tandem providing potential easily mined near surface high grade before having to mine underground. I don't know the head honcho -got bitten a bit with ROX but giving him another chance - As for the quality of geologists I couldn't agree more - I despair. Few if ever take the time to research the Abbots belt -they take historical evaluations as gospel and never challenge the concepts which has resulted in so many like WMC and other luminaries walk away repeatedly for the last century. Except THX they worked away and did some incredibly detailed and valuable work.
I think it's funny though -if you want to find gold in the Abbots just pull up the radiometrics -historically no gold in the K -all the gold in U and Th.
