I would hope that rather than just a CASH sellout, they Genex some sort of deal that allows existing shareholders to stay invested in the project if they wish.

To many of these deals (that other companies have done ... Acconex, Bellamy's I have experienced) are just a CASH offer. or crafted in such a way that the big share & option holders come out of it nicely, management gets comfy jobs with the new owners often with some "nice sweeteners" and the small retail shareholders are just "kicked out the door with a big boot" with some cash (at a time not of the investors choosing) and told basically .... tough, go find your own way in the world again.
If that's the way the small holders are often treated, no wonder we feel a bit jaded after supporting something while its doing the "hard yards" during its formative years.
