The problem is they have 2 huge projects in Colombia and PNG but not enough cash to fund them.
If they had skin in the game they would have made a bigger effort into making sure they best deal is offered to LCL shareholders.
In a market were is super hard to raise cash.
2.6Million ounces of Gold and huge tenements is something Canadians and American brokers would love to offer to investors over there. Big risk reward for them.
Thus you see two unknown investors trying to bid for it. They know that's is going to be worth 5x more once a pro mining / right wing government win in 2026...
Colombia is going to follow Argentina... and try to attract foreign investors once again. Whoever invest now is going to have huge profits in the future.
