I know for a fact there was another offer, seperate to the Tiger Option and Visby Purchase, but Chris van Wijk refused to engage in conversation. This offer was made in July last year and also in November. It was a development proposal where LCL would retain 50% of the Colombian assets. It also had the support of the main shareholder, Minlu Fu, as the party had been to his home to gain support for the offer. It was superior to both the Tiger Option and Visby Purchase. The board scuttled the deal because they wanted to only engage with the Tiger group.
The LCL board have an arrogant attitude where they won't engage with anyone outside their mates.
